She is currently working as a contributor to the discussion on the use of electro-acupuncture in the treatment of urogenital and respiratory disease. Joy Elaine Watkins Joy had many psychic experiences in childhood which has prompted a lifelong study of spirituality, self-improvement, and natural health. This means embracing a variety of theories and ways of working but overall seeing the person coming to therapy as a unique individual who may need to reconnect with themselves, to feel more balance in their life and eventually more fully whole. Paul-Marie Le Gall Paul-Marie Le Gall DO, BSc (Hons) Paul-Marie has been working in various specialist areas including children, maternity and sports injuries. Dr. Anjali started learning at a young age as her mother inspired her to follow a similar route in health care. She began her career in holistic sciences with a Teachers certificate in Yoga. She was fifteen years old and the youngest in her class, and has been practising and teaching Yoga ever since. She specializes in Tibetan Yoga for weight management. She then took a Diploma in Naturopathy and was further convinced by the way we can use our everyday elements to help us stay healthy. She continued her love for complementary medicine by joining a five and half year full time Bachelors Degree in Homeopathy. Working for a year in a hospital, that offered both Allopathic and Homeopathic treatments, showed her the positive and negative points of each system. This helped her a lot when she went to practise under a very experienced Homeopathic Practitioner, Dr.Ranga Krishnan, who has over 45 years of experience. To further her learning in complementary therapy, she studied Reiki, going all the way to the master level. As a lot of her patients in India were among the elderly, she did a post graduate Diploma in Geriatric Care, to help them and their special needs even better. Pilates Foundation Instructor Rebecca has been practising Pilates since the age of 15, starting in 2000 with Helga Fisher and Paul Mclinden. Dr Anjali Hariharan, Emily Kopp, Tanja Mickwitz. Emily Kopp - Yoga Prior to her full-time teacher training programme in Yoga, Emily had been practising for several years. She incorporates her experience of a wide variety of styles of Yoga and uses methods from different traditions in her classes. Her formal teacher training was in Hatha Yoga in the Shadow style which combines the classical yoga postures into slow, flowing sequences influenced by Tai Chi and the softer martial arts with an emphasis on proper alignment and breathing techniques. She also teaches using Iyengar methods and combines Pilates with all the techniques she uses. Lessons are designed around peoples' specific needs and are especially useful for people recovering from injuries and coping with chronic conditions, as well as people without any problems. Dr. Anjali started learning at a young age as her mother inspired her to follow a similar route in health care. She began her career in holistic sciences with a Teachers certificate in Yoga. She was fifteen years old and the youngest in her class, and has been practising and teaching traditional Hatha Yoga ever since. She specializes in Tibetan Yoga for weight management. She then took a Diploma in Naturopathy and was further convinced by the way we can use our everyday elements to help us stay healthy. She continued her love for complementary medicine by joining a five and half year full time Bachelors Degree in Homeopathy. Working for a year in a hospital, that offered both Allopathic and Homeopathic treatments, showed her the positive and negative points of each system. This helped her a lot when she went to practise under a very experienced Homeopathic Practitioner, Dr.Ranga Krishnan, who has over 45 years of experience. To further her learning in complementary therapy, she studied Reiki, going all the way to the master level. As a lot of her patients in India were among the elderly, she did a post graduate Diploma in Geriatric Care, to help them and their special needs even better. Along the way Dr Anjali has learnt Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, and some Gujrati to be able to converse more freely and effectively with people from different backgrounds. Anjali's teaching is a combination of both Iyengar and Hatha with emphasis on energizing the body as well as stretching it. Tanja Mickwitz BWY Tanja is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance teacher having completed her teacher training with The Life Centre Yoga Teacher Training Programme. Her yoga journey has led her to explore different yoga styles and through the years she has completed teacher training modules with senior teachers Richard Freeman, Shiva Rea and Rod Stryker. In her teaching Tanja combines Hatha flow sequences linking movement and breath, with more yielding sequences, holding postures for longer to access a deeper meditative quality in the practice, the emphasis being on building strength as well as finding flexibility and release. Tanja continues to be inspired and amazed by the transformative power of yoga and loves the opportunity to assist others on their yoga journeys.
