Reiki

Reiki, based on ancient Tibetan teachings, was lost for many years. Rediscovered by Dr Usui in Japan in the 1800's, Reiki was brought to the West in the 20th century. Reiki balances body, mind, emotions and spirit as it releases tension and stress, creating a deep relaxation and feeling of well-being. Reiki complements other therapies and no belief is required, only a willingness to receive the Reiki energy is needed to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Reiki lasts 45 minutes while fully clothed. The therapist places their hands in several positions over the body where Reiki is channelled through the therapist to the recipient. Often a feeling of warmth or tingling is felt. Though extremely powerful, Reiki is safe for anyone - elderly, very young, pregnant, frail or post-surgery. Reiki benefits most ailments as it works in harmony with the body's ability to heal itself, eg stress, tension, anxiety, depression, headaches, ME, arthritis, menopausal problems, aches and pains, insomnia and sciatica. Chronic ailments also respond well.

Aura Reading

You will see your own aura image on screen in real time with all colours and chakra energy centres showing. A full explanation is given with your questions answered. A reading about your energy field can tell quite a bit; your strengths and weaknesses, even if you are not getting enough fun or exercise. It is not about “seeing into the future”. It is about where you are at this moment in time, and finding the strength to shape your future into one where you are happy and fulfilled.
Readings are given by a certified life coach who also uses intuitive interpretation. You will be given easy to follow advice that can range from colours to wear, what foods to eat, personal meditations, to the start of an action plan to achieve a life long dream. All suggestions made are tailored to your individual energy field.
You will also receive a 22 page print out, your overall auric picture and a image showing chakra energy centres. You may decide this snapshot is enough to get you moving on your personal path. If not we offer regular motivational mini-sessions, weekly or monthly, to check up on your energy centres and make sure you are on track.
EQUIPMENT USED: The machine that is used is not Kirlian photography. Kirlian photography can only show energy emanations from the body, which appear as peaks or shadows like you might see on an EEG. Kirlian also can only take images, which are squeezed onto direct contact with a special plate, which is why you often see examples of leaves or hands. Kirlian cannot show an image of the face or complete body. This machine is an aura imaging system, which works similarly. The subject would put their hand on the sensor, which measures the electrical waves from around the hand, the computer takes the measurement of the wave and shows what the colour of that wave would look like (each colour having a specific wave measurement).
Just as in reflexology or acupressure we believe each area on the hand corresponds to an area of the body. That is how we tell the relative health of the various chakra energy centres. The computer overlays the colours onto a picture of the client. It also shows a more detailed outline of the whole body with the energy centres and shows the measurements of each centre and the size of the aura in general, in clear concise graphs.

Often we feel out of balance, not ‘quite right' or burdened by issues and experiences we are unable to explain or share with others.
